| Due to the political unrest, following the five year civil war in Cote D'Ivoire, the poor children are not able to go to school. Government corruption and greed have made it impossible for the parents of these children to come up with the money to send their children to the public schools that used to be free! Their government does not realize the future implications of a generation of children that have no education. They are left to survive on their own. They are vulnerable to AIDS, a life of violence and crime, and the lure of terrorist groups that promise them a better life. |
